High Risk Prenatal Care
Our healthcare providers collaborate with Piedmont Columbus Regional Maternal-Fetal Medicine to provide you with the most comprehensive and up-to-date recommendations. If your pregnancy has been identified as high-risk, your care plan may require more frequent physician visits, additional testing and ultrasounds, and consultations with other specialists as needed, based on the risks involved. We also offer in-office antenatal testing to ensure the well-being of you and your baby.
Postpartum Care
We understand that proper postpartum care for new mothers and their babies is incredibly important. That's why we prioritize early screening for mood disorders and offer support to new parents who may be struggling. For patients with high-risk factors, we conduct more frequent postpartum visits and closely monitor blood pressure levels. Our dedicated nurses are always available for additional visits if needed.

Midwifery Care
Our staff includes two experienced Certified Nurse Midwives providing personalized care during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. They ensure a healthy pregnancy and delivery and offer education, counseling, and emotional support. Low Risk Prenatal Care
Our qualified obstetric team, including a board-certified obstetrician and certified nurse midwives, provides care in collaboration with Dr. Gonzaga. Patients without complications receive complete care. If necessary, additional visits with specialists may be required.
We have made the decision to exclusively deliver babies at Piedmont Columbus Regional - Midtown for two crucial reasons. Firstly, the Midtown Campus of Piedmont Columbus Regional has a 24/7 OB Emergency Room with in-house Certified Nurse Midwives and Obstetricians who specialize in handling obstetric emergencies. Secondly, the hospital has the only Level III NICU in the region for high-risk deliveries, and the nursery is located on the same floor as the labor and delivery unit, ensuring quick and efficient care for newborns in need.
